Spurs have 1st half lead, nothing new, can they hold it?

I never really watch any other games besides the Spurs playoff games. We used to only have this problem with the Lakers but now we seem to have this problem with a lot of teams. On the up side, we have actually won close games recently. During the last few years, if the game was within 5 points (the lead could have been on our side) in the last minute, I would have guaranteed that we would have lost because we seemed incapible of winning a close game.

I guess they talked to the refs at the end of the game last time and told them that there were too many foul calls, so they stopped calling fouls against the Spurs. Look at the disparity and tell me that they don't play favorites with Tim Duncan. He is the poster boy that the league has been waiting for because he doesn't get into trouble and he is a sound fundamental player, too bad he hooks like a mofo.

Jumping Laker train, go Nets!!

if your a spurs fan, u gotta be sweating.

Not with the lack of fouls Dallas is getting. The NBA doesn't want to let SA look bad for even a moment. I can't believe the refs from the last game weren't executed.

as a Nets fan, i'd rather see the spurs win it. NJ is 3 - 1 vs spurs last 2 yrs. nj is 0-4 vs dallas.

Ehh the Mavs had no chance after the 2nd quarter.....when their second highest scorer was Raef LaFrentz, it's a pretty bad fvcking sign. Exel has 7 pathetic points, Nash 10. God they need them to step up now more than ever, and poof, they fall on their faces. Least Finley is having a good game - he's been off as of late.

Wasn't it you or was it someone else who said "regular season doesn't matter"?

i don't remember. was it me or someone else?

if i have to face one of the 2, i'd choose the one i have more regular season success against, of course detroit DOMINATED nj during the regular season, so there goes that argument.

Doesn't dallas create more mismatch problems for the nets ?

I think NJ matches up better with San Antonio
plus you know duncan chokes 4th quarter

bad argument. IF duncan chokes in the 4th quarter they won't beat Dallas. IF they beat dallas than duncan will not have choked in the 4th quarter. 🙂

I don't think the Spurs will lose this one, but I still wouldn't say the Duncan/Spurs haven't put an end to choking.

looks like Spurs got this one. when the mavs tooks game one, there was not a single doubt that the spurs would still win. i mean, you cant keep up 49/50 FT and expect the spurs to shoot that poorly

spurs will win. it would take an incredible choke for spurs to lose here.

but you have to worry if your the spurs, that you can't hold 28 point leads at home.
