my parents got some of this stuff the other day - honestly i had two glasses of it and didn't know it wasn't regular sprite until i saw the bottle.

if it doesn't have sugar, it probably has a sugar replacement, which is equally bad

well, it actually claims that it contains potassium benzoate (to protect taste) so is that the "lemon lime" part of the mix?

Nothing, if you compare the lists of ingredients on Zero and on the ?old? Diet Sprite. Sweetened as they are with aspartame and acesulfame-K, they never did contain sugar or other carbohydrates. One of the Post food writers wondered: ?Why don?t they tell us it contains zero saturated fats??

that's exactly what i thought. they are just jumping on the whole "zero carb" bandwagon. at least the packaging is a little...more attentive.
