Looks to be a pretty nice phone. I really liked the hardware design of the Touch Pro2, and this is essentially an upgraded version of that. Has the potential to be the best WP7 device out there. Also, it should launch with the copy + paste update, which is cool in itself.

Totally looking forward to it. Got a Samsung Transform in Dec, disappointed with it ever since. Just going to take the hit and sell it and probably buy the HTC Pro 7 outright.

I want my next phone to be keyboard-less.

For now I'm happy with my Epic but I almost never use the keyboard. I could do without it, especially if it saves on bulk.

Now that is a beautiful keyboard...manufacturers, take note: Properly spaced like a real keyboard, full number row, nice sized keys...

Hell, even HTC needs to take note. When they're capable of such nice keyboards, I don't understand why they put such a weak 4-rower on the G2. If I had any complaints about this one, it would be that the double-tall enter key could be normal height with another shift key over there...but still, a minor complaint.

That's pretty much the same keyboard as the TP2 besides the "Backspace/DEL" key being next to "0" and the "enter" key being tall & skinny. I think the TP2 keyboard was perfect. :)

Exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, this isn't shaping up to be enough of an upgrade to entice me to drop the TP2. I hope Sprint gets some compelling phones into their lineup soon.

last keyboard I enjoyed was on my palm pre. Last phone I enjoyed was on my palm pre. I have to say it: I'm not an Android fan. It just doesn't feel as polished as WP7, iOS, WebOS. But that's just me. Everyone has their own preferences and opinions

Funny, the keyboard on the Palm Pre was the main reason I got rid of it in favor of a Samsung Moment, even though I found the Pre's OS to be better. The Pre Plus (and all later versions) had much better keyboards, but the original Pre keyboard was terrible. Doesn't help that there's no on-screen keyboard.

I much prefer soft keyboards to physical ones.

I'm curious - if you prefer soft keyboards, why the Pre, Moment, and Epic?

I didn't start to really love software keyboards until some time after I got the Moment. Early on, I really wanted a hardware keyboard. Part of the reason I got the Pre. The Pre's keyboard sucked so I went to the Moment, which had a better one.

Then I discovered Swype. Used it a lot on the Moment, then upgraded to the Epic just because it was a better phone. My decision to get the Epic was based on other things, mainly the screen and the better processor than the Evo. But on my Epic I pretty much never use the keyboard except for emulated games. It's Swype all the way.

I might like my next phone to have no hard keyboard just to save on size/weight and complexity, but it's not really a dealbreaker. If the best phone available to me when I next upgrade has one, I guess I'll get it anyway. If anything it's nice for emulators.

Is there anywhere online that has an interactive demo with Windows Phone 7? Im interested in it from the videos i've seen online. Im just curious how it works without actually buying the phone.
