SprintPCS users starting Aug 28th it will cost you to check your minutes (*4).

probably military discount....

if not.. what discount are you getting?

My company was offered a discount by SprintPCS for being a provider of services to them. Same with Verizon, Nextel, etc. SprintPCS' discount just happens to be the largest... and free lifetime wireless web too. 🙂 I want the Treo 300 pretty bad - but I doubt I could get it for any discount. :frown:

Anyway, I think SprintPCS' customer service sucks @$$. I can't count how many times they've fu@k'd up my bill. Even their website is "down for maintenance" more often than not when you go to check minutes there.

if you work for the government you get a 15% discount i think (mom, dad, and myself all have this discount)..
i know my bro goes to John Hopkins and he gets an 18 % discount...
some schools have contracts w/ sprint.. so if you go to college, check it out, ya never know....

I'm paying 31.50/ month (before tax) for:
600 anytime mins
3000 night/weekend minutes
nighttime starts at 8 PM (instead of 9)
1st incoming minute free...
yadda yadda yadda...

if i wasnt gettin such a great deal id drop sprint in a second.. they've horrible customer service and they screw up the bills too much.. i do get good reception most of the time so i cant complain about that though...

Yup, that's why I keep them even though their service sucks.

And they threw is some free stuff like wireless web, free sms, and calls to canada.

Where'd you read about this?

If it weren't for my 25% discount on my bill every month, I'd go to Verizon or something. Hey, the Handspring Treo 300 looks sweet, doesn't it? 🙂

Same here--25% discount. But the "free" wireless costs a fortune if you USE IT cuz it uses minutes, so the "free" is bullsh!t.
I'm itching for when I can cancel Sprint, but I have to beat $44.99 (after discount) for 600 anytime, 5400 n/w, 1000 pcs-pcs, etc...

Wow, that's just crap, if it's true. I always used to check by dialing *4. It was quicker and more convenient than logging into their web site.

I'm glad I switched to Verizon. Not perfect, but I've had very few problems, and they have responsive customer service reps who answer the phone with no hold time almost every time.
