SprintPCS nighttime minutes question.....

My nighttime minutes start at 9PM, but is that 9PM of the timezone of my home calling area or the timezone where I'm using the phone from?
The reason I'm asking is because my phone number is in the CST timezone, but im traveling to the EST timezone. So if I use the phone in the EST timezone, is it 9PM local time or CST time.

i thought sprint switched to 7pm...i would think it is the timezone of your home calling area

Have to pay extra to get nights to start at 7 I believe.

Edit: It's the time zone you are currently in, the time that shows on your phone. According to the last post on this page.

I know that it at least USED to be from your hometimezone. I had a friend who lived here in MI then moved out to LA and kept his old number so his nighttime minutes started really early. lol maybe they have caught up wiht people doing that trick.

just called up sprint and they said the time is from ur home calling timezone

You can purchase the 7PM option for about an exstra $5.

You can also negotiate when starting/renewing a service.

The 7PM is where the call is originates from.

I have a phone that is home based in Pacific time. Have had not problem using it when in Eastern time and seeing extra billing charges.
