Man, I hate sprint. I have used them for about a year, and have never gone over my minutes, but i get my bill, and my minutes are almost double. They claim that I used almost 600 daytime minutes in the last 3 days of the billing cycle. Hmmm, well, I was at work those days, so couldnt really use it that much, and the minutes, they claim, were between 7am and 9pm, but conveniently they dont include an itemized bill unless u request it. well, ive requested it, but the customer service rep said i could look at the itemized bill, but it most likely wouldnt matter. it goes on too.... i asked about upping my minutes, but thats a whole other story, and im too mad to write anymore.... damn sprint...

Hopefully he was smart enough not to say "I won't pay this!". My wife utters those words before I could stop her. The rep on the other end just said "OK, we'll be disconnecting your service now and referring your account to collections. Have a nice day. :click:" :Q

Now she has that hit on her credit report for years (even though I paid it for her after we married).

What happened? Cross-account billing mistake?

No... Idiot CSR's couldnt code in the correct plan (3 TIMES!!!)... I was basically on a 0 minute per month plan with all my minutes at like $0.55 each.... Took em till the 4th month to get it right, freakin retards....

Ive been on sprint now for about 7 months and have had no problems....

you know what else sucks about sprint. their "vision" service sucks. Half the time the server doesn't respond. To top it off you have to go through "vision" to get a simple text message when all other carriers simply send it to your phone.

Their customer service is very piss poor. They messed up my bill on more than one occasion.

Verizon is currently the only company that won't charge anything for number portability.

Of course, while they're best, IMO (biggest network, most network capacity, most reliable call delivery, best CS of all the cellular companies, etc.), they're simply the best of a bad bunch, and I've experienced occasional quirks and glitches on Verizon. No billing nightmares though.

In fairness, I had no billing problems with Sprint either. I only had problems with reception, network busy errors when dialing, calls going straight to voicemail without my phone ringing, occasional random voicemails that obviously weren't left for me landing in my inbox (not wrong numbers, as they were in English, and so was my custom greeting that clearly said who I am), and abominable customer service practices that subtly say "screw you" at every step (until it's time to cancel service, that is, but even then, you'll still wait on hold!).

I get itemized bill from Sprint. Maybe they are different from St to St? I'm in TX.

Vision ain't great, but it is FAR better then what any other carrier offers. With Sprint it's unlimited, works most of the time, and is by FAR the fastest. I use it as my net connection on my PC (USB cable) I don't get charged minutes at all. Sprint doesn't like people to use the phone as a wireless modem. But, I am far from an A customer, and I have racked up almost 10 gigs of bandwidth in 3 months. It's about 4x faster then I'd get on a 56k here, cos we have crummy lines.
15k/s is cool with me :)

long live sprint!

I was looking at the sprint web page the other day, and if you change your plan online, then you are also being singned up for a new two year contract.
