Sprint Sanyo SCP 5300 on clearance at OD for $114.02 BM only

I found the SPH-A460 (577-962)on clearance for $64.02 but none available in my area so I picked up the Sanyo SCP 5300 (599-734)on clearance for $114.02 at OD.

I don't know much about this phone. Is this a good deal before I activate it. Does anyone know of a better deal on a sprint phone?

Sounds hot to me. It's like getting the phone at rebate price without having to renew your contract for 2 years. Sanyo makes the best phones (imo). My Sanyo SCP-4000 is over 3 years old and is still in excellent shape and working like it was out of the box.

I'm gonna check OD on these phones tonight.

My OD didn't even carry the 5300. The A460 wasn't in stock, but was priced @ $150 or so.

Sold out at OD's across St. Louis. Listed as Discontinued, and was clearanced at appx $170. No mailorder available either.

OM's still have them, but they're confirmed at $229 and active. No price match available.
