I hope this isnt a repost, i searched for sprint and for drop and didnt find anything and im sure you sprint users are gonna love this...

If you get on your phone, dial *2, and tell claire that you got a dropped call (im guessing the word she recognizes is drop or dropped call) they will tell you that one dropped call has been credited to your account after you enter your zip code or something.. well, one dropped call credited = $.50 credit to your monthly bill.. i know there is a monthly limit on this (dont know the monthly limit) and you can only do one at a time.. in other words, you do it once, then when you're done it asks if you'd like to go through the menu again and so forth...

I almost didnt want to post this because i have a feeling its gonna be abused, but i figured ive gotten so much from at hot deals, id give something back....please dont abuse this and only use it if you really get a dropped call... the more it is abused, the faster it will be gone...

Yeah, it's been posted before a while back. The problem with this is that it takes 5min literally to get through all the options to actually get the credit.

I tried it a few times when my phone actually showed full signal but the call dropped anyhow, but never saw the credit. :(

Lame service, not necessarily a lame deal though.

I saw this post earlier this evening and, shortly after reading it, I was on my cell phone making a call. Surprise, surprise! The drop fairy showed up... twice. :( Finally, I have some recourse against this evil occurrence.

Lets see, about 2 drops a day, 30 days a month... That comes out to 60 dropped calls a month average. Wow, at $0.50 a dropped call, Sprint pays for itself! :)

sandigga-I agree, abuse it you lose it! If this gets out of control, Sprint will no doubt change their dropped call policy and you will no longer get credits when you really feel you deserve them (like a real dropped call).

Have had Sprint for about 5 years. They have always had this policy and it's is a royal PITA and very time consuming.

Unfortunately, I found over the years that MOST times the credits never show up on the bill.
Consequently, I no longer try to get the credit for the dropped calls.

I always get the message that an extra minute has been added to my monthly airtime minutes at the highest something available which I'm assuming means they added an extra minute to my day-time minutes. I've done it tons of times but never heard anything on the line about them mentioning a $0.50 discount.

This was ALL posted before. The problem is for MOST people including me they only credit you with 1 minute, not even worth my time!

This is great.. and a repost.. however, I am pretty sure they have a limit on this set to like $3.00 I have had about 6 dropped calls that I have reported already and "Claire" now wants me to talk to a Rep. Anyone else experience this?

It does say that you have been credited one airtime minute at the highest air time or something like that, but then when you get your bill, you will see that it credits you .50 cents.

Also, it usually only takes less than a minute to do the process, because all you have to do when you get virtual claire is say "I got a dropped call", enter in your zip code or last four of SSN, whichever it asks you to verify, and that's it. Usually works fine for me.

<< They gave me a 1 minute credit rather than monitary. I can live with that. >>

Take a look at your next statement to see the fifty cent credit. I get dropped calls all the time and I used to call in and speak with a CSR about it but now just do the ask clair thing.
I'm not sure about a limit on the dropped calls credit, but I generally receive 3-10 calls worth credited a month for this.

I canceled my sprint account to go back to AT&T... I think i get 1 drop call/yr with AT&T how ever with Sprint i was only able to make 1 complted call/mo... I guess all those bucket minutes that sprint gave me were pretty much useless if i can't have a conversation that lasts past 2 minutes :(

sucks that you have to actually say something, it use to be that you just press a series of numbers, i guess too easy
