I was pretty fed up with my Sprint cell phone service (dropped calls, LCD on phone no longer works, so I can't see who's calling, crappy reception, and did I mention dropped calls?), so anyway, I called them to cancel (I was going to get a Verizon Plan), but they tried to offer me some Retention Plans.

The "Best" the guy could offer me was:

800 min Anytime
Free PCS-to-PCS with 2-year Agreement
Free Nationwide and Long Distance
Nights starting at 8 PM

And since I needed add my wife's service to mine (Family plan?), the guy said it was $60 for the plan + $20 for the extra line.

A Total of $80, and that's the BOTTOM LINE he could offer me. I was fairly pissed, but I wanted to make sure that this was a crap deal before I cancelled for sure.

Anybody get a better deal than this?

Well this has nothing to do with your post, but when i wanted to get a new phone, I went in and told them my old one was under warranty and no one there knew how to do a warranty plan, the supervisor had to CALL another sprint store and go through the procedure...maybe that store was just idiots or maybe Sprint just doesn't teach it's employees anything.

Not a deal at all:

Check out Verizon deals on Amazon (plans+ phones).

$70 for 1000 min shared plan.....

Or go for t-mobile....

BTW, why are you even considering the deal if you get crappy reception and dropped calls

I got $30/m for the following plan. (this was over a year ago and it took 2 calls to get this)
450 anytime minutes
first incoming minute free
nationwide coverage
2000 night/weekend minutes starting at 8:00

call again and see if you can get anything better.

Crappy service, but excellent rates... Actually I just purchased a new phone for my service because my plan is so good.

Sweet deal. I remember that one from quite a few years back when posted onto Hot Deals.

They must have excess cash since they have been sending me a bill for $3.25 for 2 years now. At .37 cents per bill they have spent $8.88 to bug me for $3.25 that I don't owe them.

Been a Sprint PCS customer since 11/00,

I have 750 Peak
PCS to PCS free
3000 Off Peak Nights start at 8pm

I pay $39.99/month and of course I get a Corp discount through my job reducing my bill by 23%.

I will never switch.

Sprint also gives you a $150 credit for a new phone every 18-months
