Sprint nexus

Guys just shutup about ios vs android and stupid android *needs* dual core. Android doesn't need it at all. What *needs* dual core is us crazy ass enthusiats who just want to the latest and best available 🙂

Back to the Nexus... yeah it is basically a epic with no keyboard and a curved screen. However, you do get google software support for much faster software upgrades. The new Sprint/google voice integration will be nice too 🙂
 
I've said this before but feel I should repeat it the biggest negative (to me) about the Nexus is lack of an sdhc slot; at least the galaxy s has one. It also has the same crappy gps issues. Hum. To be honest if it had the sdhc slot and came out 4 months earlier I would probably have bitten but now I would rather wait for the evo3d or (preferred choice) galaxy s 2.

Today all the providers have dual core phones 'cept sprint. I'm really not hung up on a dual core; but I want a phone with decent battery life and (big plus) nice and thin. The g2x was really very nice and the s2 also looks nice. Anyways with my luck the sprint galaxy s2 will have a freaking keyboard - and the evo3d 2 hour battery life - makes me want to give sprint the finger.

Yea, it definitely is about personal tastes. I really don't care much about any of the dual core phones out right now. But zerocool is right. It was just perception that made you think that the carriers all had dual core phones 🙂 The carriers just announced that they were getting dual core phones earlier than sprint. ATT currently has the motorola atrix. T-Mobile just recently got the G2x (it has only been maybe 2 weeks). Verizon's Droid Bionic remains to be seen.
 
Yea that's true. I was thinking of the thunderbolt when I wrote the text but iti s single core and I would pass on it for the same reason as the evo (crappy battery life). Mostly I'm just annoyed that Europe has the galaxy s2 and it hasn't even been announced in usa. While being dual core is nice the things that attract me are long battery life and display that works well outdoors.

Oh well I guess the other thing I never got is why the vendors are so secretive about the road map.

my mom's on T-Mobile and she called up on what phone she should get. Originally, she tried getting the Samsung 4G phone from walmart, but I stopped her and told her to go to an ACTUAL T-Mobile store.

I was kind of hoping she would be able to try out the Nexus S there, but she walked out the store with a HD7 instead. She says it's so beautiful, but she doesn't know how to use it... tsk tsk... told her she should've stuck with Android (she's coming from a old flip phone) as she'll be able to figure out that much easier than WP7!
