Awful.

I had a Kyocera phone back in the day. It was recalled due to somehow having "counterfeit batteries" installed that could explode. With that kind of QC in their production process i won't rely on them to give me a working smartphone.

Industry first, ugh. What crap.

This will only be a WIN if it makes Kyocera finally leave the handset business. Otherwise, FAIL.

I'm somewhat disappointed that this is coming out on sprint and not T-Mo. It probably be a cool 2nd phone to use for a couple hours a day & would have been on ebay for <$200 within 6 months.

I'm pretty happy that this phone is uninteresting (to me). I happen to like Sprint, so I'd be tempted to upgrade - but this wasn't that interesting and the lack of 4G kills it for me.

Someone is getting fired. Room full of MBAs thought this was a good idea.

I think you guys are missing how innovative this is.

I think this will be an important failure. I absolutely love the idea of a dual screen like that. The actual phone looks terrible, though. Hopefully, in a couple years someone will put something out similar but much better.
I wholeheartedly agree. I've been dreaming of a good dual-screen since seeing the Courier mockups. This probably isn't it, but somebody has to try first.

I kept thinking I'd owned a Kyocera phone, then remembered I did,

The Kyocera Palm phone. It was THE worst phone I've ever owned, it froze constantly, had one or 2 major software updates that actually made it worse...

It was slow as hell too :D

I swore to never own another Kyocera product
