Spring gardening

glen

Lifer
Is anyone going to grow a garden this spring?
I am growing 8 varieties of tomatoes.
3 Varieties of corn.
Basil
Cillantro
Rosemary
Thyme
and a few other things

I already have the seeds started indoors under a massive grow light.
In my area, if I wait 2 more weeks, I can probably safely put them outside.

Yea, I always grow some tomatoes. I planted them about a week ago outside, and they have started sprouting. I haven't figured out what else to plant 🙂

Yep. Not many veggies, though. A few varieties of tomato, garlic, leek, and some habanero pepper plants.

Have a few perennial flower beds, but love clematis and roses. I raise English and miniature roses. Some annuals too.

where do you live, at my home in NY the soil is great for peppers, especially jalepeno peppers. My parents even mixed jalepeno and bell peppers by mistake one year by planting them too close to eachother and we had some bell peppers that were mildly hot, we'll also plant cucumbers, zuchini, pumpkins, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, celery, basil, parsley, oregano

we also have 3 fig trees, two lemon trees, a plum tree, a cherry tree(the birds usually get 90% of them), a peach tree, and a chinese pear tree

i love going home and taking care of the their garden and the lawn, its a little hard to start a garden here in boston

Not this year. The water level is so low in the resevoirs that I suspect there'll be water use restrictions in the very near future.... 🙁
