I stayed in the presidential suite of the Swan for a week a few years ago.. what a nice hotel! Was bigger then my house, had a balcony overlooking the lake, a grand piano, kitchen, exlusive access to the top floor lounge areas...

Those were the days.. something like $2000 a night for that room!

 
Boardwalk was definetely high on the list when we were going. This was in 2000. Of course everytime they put up a new hotel its going to be bigger and better. Fact of the matter is that they are all Disney properties so you get a lot of perks in any one you choose. You cant beat shopping somewhere and not having to carry anything out of the store, then going back to your room and its watiing there for you.

Absolutely. I could only afford the All Star last year, but let's face it - even the "budget" hotel at Disney is nicer than a lot of nice hotels elsewhere. I loved being able to bill things to my room using my room key. I just locked my wallet and keys in the room safe and didn't worry about them. Of course you still have to stick to your budget hehe.

I'd love to stay in one of the high-end joints just once before I have kids, though 😀

Thats crazy, but I bet its an experience you wont forget.
 
I just got back from a fishing trip in Panama, Pacific side - now THAT was hot, daaaaaaamn hot. This coming from someone who lived in Saudi for 5 years no less. It was worth, I caught my marlin. 😀
 
Cool pictures! Glad you had fun... wish i was going somewhere for spring break. maybe i'll take a drive to vegas for a couple of days or something 😉

I need to dig out the pictures to refresh my memory!

It was great to be one of the people on the elevator who had the key to let me press the buttons on the top floor!
 
Some friends of my wife's went down to Florida for spring break. They went to a night club and ended up dancing and having drinks with Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie (I think that's her last name).

They had a good time 🙂

maybe sometime over the summer I might head down again with a couple of friends.

they were originally planning for the end of april..but it's too close to exam time..so they're thinking mabey some time in the summer.
