spring break decision?

Hi,

Does anyone recommend places that i can go with my gf at spring break? I don't know where to take her. It'll be for 3 days. We aren't people who goes to parties or clubbing, but we just like to hang out with each other, and go site seeing, and basically chill. She wants to be out of the city (LA). Any suggestions? I was thinking san francisco, but hey, i don't know anything!

Whoa. Did I read that you plan on taking your gf on spring break? That's your first problem. Just kidding. If you want to do some sight seeing just head for a road trip.

but to where though? I was thinking more along the lines of a city that has good shopping places. She loves shopping, and i guess i'll just suck it up for her enjoyment!

If money is tight go to San Fran. I am looking at taking my wife there for her birthday just for a few nights. There is a Best Western in downtown there for like $60 a night, not to bad for just a random trip. Check cheaptickets.com for more info on hotels in the area.
