anything else i can do tonight so that i can still go out tomorrow night?

this sucks 🙁

been there and done that...

elevate your ankle will help alittle, but you definitely won't be wearing any dancin' shoes tomorrow night...

I severely sprained mine once and it took about 6 weeks before I could walk without any pain. All I did was put ice packs on it, kept it elevated, tried to stay off of it as much as possible, and wore an ankle support brace from weeks 3-6.

I've never broken bones. But in college I sprained my ankle and was on crutches for over 4 weeks. My profs said I hope it isn't permanent. It eventually went away. I wish you a speedy recovery. It's funny, but a sprain can be wicked. BTW, I sprained it on the first day of spring break. The rest of the week was a bummer, I hope this makes you feel better.

I sprained my knee really bad a while back while playing paintball. It swelled up and looked like I had a huge water balloon under my skin, it was gross.

i sprained my ankle... it took 3 months for hte pain to fully go away... although you'll be able to walk on it within the week, try to stay off it as much as possible.

I got really frustrated because even up to 4 or 5 months after the sprain, i'd just be walking along and the ankle would give out sidways. Like it would just roll. The weirdest thing 😵

Be patient, and good luck 🙂 if it gets worse or doesnt start feeling better, be sure to get it checked out asap!
