Sprained Ankle

I'm living on campus at school, and I sprained my ankle a couple hours ago. It's not too bad, I'd say I probably have a 50% shot at walking tomorrow (I made it back 2 blocks from the gym with a pretty bad limp and bearable pain).

If not, I still need to get to classes. Where should I go to try to get crutches tomorrow if I need them?

Edit: I would prefer not to buy/pay for them.

You can give Craigslist a try for the freebie route. If you need to pay for them, Walgreens is a safe bet.

I hope they clean them after ever rental.

IIRC, they make you buy new pads for them (the ones that go under your arms.)

Walgreens has many. You also need to take care of that ankle and have somebody tape it and give you an air splint. Otherwise you're just going to keep damaging it.

Keep it elevated and iced and 1200 mg of ibuprofen.
