Spotted 30" LG LCD at BestBuy, $899

I don't have any more info, it doesn't seem to be an TV - it was under computer monitors. I was in hurry, I didn't even see the specs...
 
Nothing on the website about a 30'' monitor or t.v.

They do have a 32'' one though and its $1,139. Hard to imagine that this model would be $899, though it if was, great deal.
 
Very funny. I'll check it out over weekend. There's nothing on webiste, but I can confirm only 2 things: price $899 and size 30", and it was under monitors.
 
I have seen this in store I believe, it was off in the corner didn't look like they were trying to sell it. It was Flatron and was expensive, box has a picture of some big ass subwoofer looking thing that comes with it, anyone know what the hell that is?

BB has stuff in the store you don't see on the web site, weird. but even @ 899 this is out of my reach.
 
Yes do check and provide a model number.

I find it odd that LG if they were coming ou with 30 inch widescreen LCD they didn't bother annoucing it at CES. they annouced their flatron line with the 24inch wide screen that I want though no pricing has been set on those annouced at ces yet.

that looks just like it, but come to think of it I'm not 100% sure it was 30" it was much bigger then 24" though. They were on clearance @ my BB.
 
A 30" LG has been sitting on a Best Buy endcap for about the last year. Not new, but I think they were recently taken down for the Vista launch. Guess its no longer a wow item since Best Buy has a couple 24" lcds in store. If I remember it was not super high resolution, more like 720p.

that is my think too. LG only has one 30 inch lcd monitor and its been discountinued.
