Spotify coming to the U.S., sign up for an invite

I had no idea Slacker had that small of a library compared to Spotify. I think Pandora has 6 million?
Anyway, I'm starting to think Slacker is smarter at selecting music. I'm using Pandora less and less since I installed Slacker on my phone.

No way. Pandora has sub 1 million from what I read last year. Closer to 700k. I've been using Slacker for a while and Pandora in the past. While Pandora really can tune in on your interests well, the selection is very mediocre. Slacker has helped me discover a lot of new songs. My friend created a 90s rock station on Pandora and I identified every single damn song. It's all just mainstream crap.

seems like a no brainer?

Sometimes you want a SPECIFIC song. I've been on Rhapsody since 2004 for FREE and being able to pick ANY song that I like is amazing. iCloud is retarded because you need to upload your stuff first. I get full albums, and so when it comes to specific new songs I'm often annoyed because I don't have specific singles. That's why all these cloud services are nice but kinda useless to me considering AT&T also has a cap. I already hit 1.2GB easily without music. I can't imagine what going cloud would do to me.

Pandora is just useless unless youre driving on the road and don't want to make a playlist. For moments where you want to hear a specific song, Spotify/Mog/Rhapsody cures that.
