Spot the irony?

I don't have any real "prizes", but I'll give the winner a smiley and if you can spot the TWO ironies, you will receive THREE SMILEYS!!!! :) :) :)

Good luck!

The irony? Hell that's easy, you call yourself a Guru/geek and look at that friggin desk!! You could eat off that for pete's sake, so clean, so neat and orderly, nice little cubby holes for stuff. You disgust me, you are a disgrace to our breed. Next you will say you like Volkswagon's or something...........

I am of course kidding ;)

Microsoft Mouse with Linux
not sure on second one, but that is not a Mac keyboard is it?

I think its
Quake3
Linux
Microsoft intellieye

Reason for this, Quake3 and linux doesnt run, Linux and Microsoft obvious, Microsoft intellyeye and Quake3 we all know that fast movements with the intellieye is a bad idea.

big smooth got the easy irony. MS mouse with Linux. :)
snow patrol: Good eye. That is Q3A, but that's not it.
kidviciou$: No. It's a Relisys.
ulfwald: No. Those are Grateful Dead bears.
bakwetu: Actually I prefer a neat work place. My job is such a pig sty that I take extra measure at home to be neat.
ratkil: It's a Belkin USB.
wangel: Not cordless anything. I don't like cordless.
czar: Q3A DOES work in Linux. So does UT FYI.

Much to my amazement, YAKKO GOT THE OTHER IRONY!!!! I didn't see that coming. Yes, it's a KMFMS mouse pad. Here's your 3 smileys: :) :) :)

I suspected that the mouse pad might have had something to do with it, but I couldn't quite make out the slogan. Great post btw jonny :)

How the heck can you get any work done. The desk looks small, no flat surfaces to lay all your papers on and the monitor is too close to the keyboard. The best desk to use a computer on is a 4'x8' sheet of plywood with a formica top, lots of room.

There's open space to the left side of the KBD (out of the picture).

Enough to open an encyclopedia on.

It's especially good because I'm left handed.

The desk is actually huge. It a big square table that's 4' X 3' deep.

The monitor's not too close either. It's a 17" and I sit a good 2 to 3' away from it.

I think your sense of perseption is off due to the weird angle of the photo. The camera was right up against the edge of the desk where the mouse is and then angled up towards the monitor.
