Eh, if it were me I'd be looking for a sticker or something on the box that was a little more obvious. I'm not so sure I'd look there without knowing that's where it is.

I'd be looking at the lot number under the flap, since it's alleged the Premium-HDMI from 07-xx lots earlier than 07-28 are 90nm Elite motherboards not 65nm Falcon.

No Falcons have hit retail yet have they?

No one has posted about seeing / buying a Falcon here or at ArsTechnica, but I don't visit any of the xbox-specific forums so maybe there's a report of a sighting elsewhere.

I don't think Falcon is in stores yet.

Thanks for the link. I'll take it to the store tomorrow.

I don't think anybody has opened up the new 360s that have HDMI to look to see if they are Falcons. I haven't see it yet at least. They have checked lot numbers written on the back of the 360s and thought that it might be from the same lot of motherboards as the Elites (Zephyr).

i just got me a premium today, can't tell if its falcon or not. it has HDMI. This thing throws out some hot air from the fans out back. Then again i'm used to my 5 case fans on my pc.
Noise is not loud, again, compared to my 5 case fan pc (80mm). Someone on the xbox forums said there was a sticker on the mobo, that said "qual2" and he thinks this might be the 65's. Oh, it has a ben-q drive.

I know this is a moot point since most (all) 360's now should be HDMI but to make sure I don't pick up some old stock, can anyone tell me what minimum MFG Date and/or Lot Number I should look for to assure HDMI?

this is also a moot point if you read the first few posts of this thread.

 As long as it says "HDMI port" on the back of the box.

Click the link at the top, and/or read the second post of this thread. How are you missing this?

Even simpler, you just look for the new "Go Pro" boxes that include free Forza and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

With those, you'll at least get a Zephyr, and if you're lucky it will be a Falcon.

Amazon.com has these if you want to order online.

Sorry for pissing everyone off (geez). I went to Costco and alot of the sides are blocked. I didn't see any mention of HDMI anywhere but I saw on the side barcode it said Zephyr. I ended up buying it. What is funny about the Costco pack is while it's labeled a Holiday Pack, it's not a true one. Instead they took a Console, and tapped a Forza and MUA box (just one DVD case, 2 games inside apparently) to the outside. Then they bundled an extra controller and Play and Charge Kit. They put everything in a blister pack and they call it the Holiday Pack Bundle. It sells for $399.99. I highly doubt any of these Costco packs have Falcon's inside because they must have taken old X-Box's and slapped on the two games as opposed to Best Buy or Amazon which got Holiday Packs from the factory. To me it was getting a Falcon (Best Buy) or getting the Costco warranty and I went with Costco.

Also, DaveSimmons, I couldn't find any of the Go Pro boxes on Amazon.

Thanks for the info Dave. I might return this Costco pack and buy it from Amazon. I know I can assure Falcon by getting it from Best Buy but at Amazon I won't have to pay $29 in tax.
