Yeah, for two reasons: Clarkson fits in these cars and he is big and I just don't see many dealerships having a GT on the lot.

I'm 6'4" and fit very comfortably in a Porsche 997 (no, I don't have one, and don't have the money for one either). If your dad buys a 997 GT3 or Turbo, he'll have one hell of a car.

I think the Corvette is the only car within that performance spectrum that is friendlier to tall drivers. But I don't know about Aston Martins, Maseratis, Bentleys, etc.

I dont knwo about the newer vetts but about 10 years ago when I had the money to afford one my dream of owning one flew out the window because I couldnt fit. Im 6'4" and my head was hitting the roof and my knees were hitting the dash, and legs pressed up against the wheel. I tried the 70's, 80's, and 90's and the only ones could even remotly squeeze into was a newer at the time 90's with the top off and my head slightly out the top and looked silly as hell.

So I would say unless they have changed sports cars were not made for the tall unless you have the funds to have it modded to fit you.
