Sport Illustrated Model Reality Show last night...

Well the last elimination with the two girls was a complete CROCK! The girl that was eliminated deserved the position a whole lot more. Making an example of her because she did not take advantage of the situation was ridiculous. The other girl was a DOG! I think really it comes down to them not wanting to pick off any black girls so early, as not to taint the image of the show. I am by no means biased, because the other african american girls looked great and deserve to at least go a long long way, but that girl... totally a DOG (in comparison to the others, especially the girl she was against at least).

My two cents...

no kidding. the girl that they cut was easily in the top 4 as far as looks.

I think that people are missing the point of SI Swimsuit competition. Unlike ANTM, SI is not trying to make the supermodel out of the girls right at the spot (i.e., not on TV). They are only trying to find the best fit girl. In other words, they are looking for special features, personalities, and potentials only. Then upon choosing that girl, they'll make her over and give the supermodel look that we have all come to expect, except we will get to see it in the magazine--instead of on TV.

Are you sure that you aren't biased? Your post looks clearly biased. I mean to the extent that you even lost count of how many Black girls they have on the show. If you look carefully, you'll only find 2 Black girls. One of the Black girls (Adaora) was eliminated. And I agree with the choice of Black girl that they kept. The other girl is just bland. Whether Black or White, if the camera doesn't like you, they don't care to have you on their products. If you cannot come out lively when the camera is rolling, then they don't care to have you <period>. Would they have chosen these Black girls in the first place if they were only so concerned about not looking racist? No. There are many more Black girls out there to choose from. They chose these girls simply because they saw something in them just as they saw something in the other girls.

You may want to reexamine your likes, dislikes and biases. At the end, there is and will be only one winner declared, after all.
