I don't own a printer and I probably will never have one for this PC, yet the process spoolsv.exe runs constantly taking anywhere from 1,000 K Mem Usage to 6,500 K Mem Usage.
I have ended the process through the Task Manager, but it comes back on. I have checked in msconfig to see if it is loading upon startup, but it isn't in the list. I have checked the printer options through the Control Panel, but it only asks if I want to install a printer.
As far as I am concerned, this process is just taking up memory which can be better directed elsewhere.
So does anyone know how I can rid myself and my PC of this worthless process?
