Spooler SubSystem App

I have WinXP Pro SP1 and Zonealarm tells me this wants to connect to the Internet. Its location is:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe

PS. I'm not installing SP2 and I'm not debating it.

It's to determine whether it's spyware or not.

Install SP2 and yes it is the Print Spooler.

Lots of things end up in the system32 folder that don't come with Windows

FYI: You can use http://support.microsoft.com/dllhelp/ to verify various files bundled with any Windows version.

Expand the search to "by file only" and it'll list every version of the file in question, and you can quickly confirm that you have the correct version and size.

Or... Search using google. It usually hits one of the many "is this file legit?" sites around the net.
