Splitting MP3's?

Hi all, I need a simple utility (preferably freeware) to split an MP3 file into two parts. I received a file that had two spoken word speeches merged together into one long MP3 and want to split them apart. Any help would be appreciated.

why don't you just use the trial version of goldwave?
you might also wanna grab LameWin to re-encode

it doesn't so much split but it's a fully featured editor, so you ca just cut and paste as a new sound.

MP3Splitter is a very basic program. Not alot of options.

If you have an 80 min MP3 and want to split into 15 min files, you will get 5 -15min and 1-5 min.
Only way to taylor it is to know the exact length of each section.

The MP3 is a little over 5 minutes in length. It wouldn't be that hard to figure out exactly how many seconds into it to cut (but probably not too fun).
