how much are the boxes?Originally posted by: crab453
I think $4/mo per addl. box. And yes, you can.
i'm looking to hook up 4 rooms.Originally posted by: NutBucket
If you only want 2 boxes then all you need is a dual output LNB. You only need the splitter if you want more then 2.

I think Bestbuy is running a promo for a free dish (with rebate) / install for one room. If they do all that, then I buy the splitter and the boxes separately, how much is it going to run?

The boxes are usually alot more expensive when not bought in a package.

Dual LNB has 2 COAX lines coming from the dish.
No, not all dishes have them. You need to specify that you want dual LNB.

I'd go dish network. It's $32/mo for the Top 100 package (the top 150 isn't worth it IMO), and besides, within a year they *should* own Direct TV. Locals aren't extra if you live in an area that gets them normally.Originally posted by: aphexII
Im debating right now if i wanna go with DirecTV or DishNetwork...
DirecTV - $35 for 2 boxes... roughly $40 a month with local channels
DishNetwork - FREE for 2 boxes... roughly $35 a month with local channels...
Which do you reccomend?
