Not to mention the fact that all PC prebuilts are lumped into this category as well. I really don't like having to weed through those and SFF's to find my laptop infos. SFFs/Prebuilts in one forum, Notebooks/Tablets/PPCs in the other.
 
I never even noticed that pre-builts were included in this forum. I'd just as soon post to General Hardware about a Dell.

SFF must secede from the union!
 
Count this as a 'split' vote, but....

Well, where ARE you guys going for SFF info right now? This forum kinda....errr....it's less desirable for it. Sudhian is nice, but it's pretty much ONLY the SFF stuff there I read, so I haven't regged there, yet.

What other forums have a decent SFF section?

As per the moderator's message in the original post, Anand will make the final decision. Being that he just returned from his honeymoon, this most likely isn't a pressing matter on his agenda at the moment.

Am certain it will be given its due attention.
 
I agree. Split it up. I use both and never think of the two in the same way. SFF is more closely related to an ATX box then to laptops.
 
Splitting them would be a very wise decision... the market for SFF"s is growing and it since the membership is so large on anandtech, i am sure we could accomodate both forumns easily.

Just give em some time... it seems to be a unanimous decision here, and it would be a wise choice to split since SFFs are really becoming very popular.

It's only been two weeks since the thread was first posted. Be patient 😉
