Split cat 6 cable into 2

Basically i want to run a computer in my basement and transmit the video and audio and usb to my tv upstairs through the cat 6 wiring done in the walls. I only have 1 cat 6 cable available for usb audio and video. Is it possible to get a splitter of some
Kind and run an hdmi adaptor that would carry audio and video and a few, maybe 2 usb 2.0 ports for mouse and keyboard. And bandwidth shouldn't be a problem because cat 6 is 10gbps?

There are HDMI to CAT5/CAT6 adapters, and Audio to CAT5/6 adapters, and even USB to CAT5/6 adapters, but as far as I'm aware, no single device that will send all three over the same cable. You'll need to pull additional wires through the wall. If the wiring was done properly inside conduits, running another cable or two should be a fairly simply process.

But wouldnt it be possible as cat 6 would have enough bandwith?

Not sure. HDMI 2.0 is good for 18Gbps (I'm assuming you won't be running the resolutions required to be anywhere near that).

With that said, the only one I found isn't cheap at all.....

Edit: Cheaper but still expensive....

IPKVM works, but it isn't cheap. Remote desktop in Windows does what you want, except USB devices. If you're willing to jump through some hoops (set up basement computer as Hyper-V server and create a guest for your uses), you can use RemoteFX to get USB redirection as well.

No. Because you can't run those on top of each other on the same wire. You could run oil through your house's plumbing if you wanted, but you can't also run drinking water through the pipes at the same time.

Sure you can...but it's not cheap (see devices above that can do it).

Actually no, the devices you linked to are just running HDMI. Sure it has the inputs for the other stuff, but it still is HDMI, converted to run on 4 pair UTP wiring. HDMI has provisions for 100Mbps Ethernet, USB, audio and video running on the standard. That is different than SEPERATELY trying to run them. You also can't split the Ethernet cable and run any of this.

As shown, the KVM bridges are very, very expensive to do it.

Also the ones linked won't also extend 100Mbps Ethernet (oddly enough).
