ive got it for 360. it's just very meh. same old crap with better graphics.

although i haven't taken it online yet. some parts of the earlier levels are just way too dark, and these levels you dont have your night vision goggles either.

The first level is stupidly dark and somewhat confusing. But I think the whole game gets much, much better after that. Some levels are way better than CT, some a little worse.

I have been playing the demo - Very similar to Chaos Theory (In a good way). I am a huge SC fan and will definitely buy this game - The graphics are a little better, but I am only running "standard" graphics, not the "next generation" setting. My 7800gt can't handle the "next gen" just like Tomb Raider Legend :roll:

Still an awesome looking game and will definitely be waiting for it to come out!

Pretty good so far. I like how you sort of have to work for both the NSA and JBA and not lose their trust. Im in the start of the 2nd congo level right now.

Which makes it even more of a joke. All of the latest ATi cards can support HDR+AA and all of the latest nVidia cards can support HDR+AA. Besides, some of those games don't even use HDR but instead implement Bloom (i.e. NWN2 and Gothci 3 IIRC).

GRAW is the same, only that uses a HDR method where you simply cannot do AA, not even on the X1900's or the 8800's (pesky MRT's!)

i think with SC as well, even though Radeon X1000 series could do HDR+AA, i never seen it enabled.

Can you rename the exe to Oblivion.exe and use that chuck patch? A few months ago someone in video said this works in Chaos Theory, although I never tried it.

heres my problem, when in the regular vision mode I get a very large box on the right side of my monitor. It actually takes up the a whole quarter of monitor screen. Wth???

Dunno what is up, but I have no sound in game. Even tried to turn off acceleration (and the other 3 posisitons also).
This is with the demo. The main screen has sound.

Oh, I tried both Nvidia drivers & realtek. Neither worked better than the other.

I just got it yesterday.

I hadn't checked the specs and it looks as though my hardware isn't "robust" enough. From posts here, it looks as though Standard might work.

I think it's time to upgrade though. I've been wanting to for the last year.

I got it from Amazon. I had purchased a Braun razor from them earlier this year. I got an email saying that I would receive my $50 credit code from them soon and didn't even know what they were talking about. Two days later I get an email with code.

I applied it towards Double Agent and owed them like $4 for shipping. They waived the shipping and the whole purchase was free. I'm-a-likin' it. :thumbsup:

I tried the demo of this and it performs like garbage despite looking worse than Chaos Theory as far as I can see. To make things worse, it also seems to have a stuttering physics engine similar to Doom 3 (panning the camera is fine but movements aren't fluid even when the framerate is good). Does the full game run this badly? I'm using the next gen setting (standard doesn't seem to work right in the demo) at a paltry 1024x768 without AA or vsync and it still drops into the 20s quite a bit. I'm now unsure of whether I should buy this even though I love the SC series.

The gameplay looked good overall, similar to the other SC games, but there doesn't seem to be any HUD except for the rep meters.
