Is that the Advent 20" Flat Screen from Best Buy? If so, I just picked up one to replace an old 19" that was getting flaky on me. The last straw was when the picture went out for about 30 seconds while playing MechAssault.
So far I am impressed with the picture. I also picked up the $49 Mintek DVD player for my son to watch DVDs on. If anyone is interested in buying this TV, I noticed after I had purchased mine that it is $189 on the website, but $199 in the store. Save $10 by ordering with in store pickup.

the one in the best buy here looked fuzzy until he switched it to a direct source instead of the instore adverts (which apparently is fuzzy). then it cleared up. and i'm expecting after i get it calibrated with my home theater disc it should look even better. the fact it's a flat screen for 199 tho is pretty nice. the toshiba 20" flat is 279 and the sony is 299 i believe.

And those things look sweet even with the "fuzzy instore adverts"
Couldn't fork over $300 for a 20" TV though
Have you seen MGS2 on PS2? I Played both games including the Xbox splinter cell demo but I was wondering how the graphics compare, since I was only playing splinter cell through composite at the time and have not tried since I got the component video going.

According to IGN, "Splinter Cell makes MGS2 look like Pac Man".
Yeah, I agree. I guess they just didn't want to give away the better parts of the game though. The DEMO disc just ruin the game man. I wasn't at all excited by the DEMO but the real game rocks. They should have never come out with the demo.

The best part is how it's so challenging and how there's so many ways around each goal.
I made it most of the way through the CIA level before I realized I had set off too many alarms and i was screwed.
I started the mission over and blazed through it using almost no ammo. It was a wonderful feeling of accomplishment.![]()
