Splinter Cell - what to keep?

Greets -

I just finished Splinter Cell (great game), and I plan on doing a reinstall of my system here in the next week or so. Does any know the file or two I need to keep to be able to come back and play any maps, etc? Or just save the last saved game?

Thanks.

I haven't played SC, but most games have a save game configuration subfolder in the main game directory. You should be able to find the saved game files with a little digging.

I have noticed that some games are starting to place the save files in the "My Documents" of Windows instead of placing them in the game directory. As I recall, GTA3 does this...

If you still have trouble finding it, look for files that have a very recent modification time.

You just need you C:\Splinter Cell\Save folder. There should be separate profiles in there. Just save the ones you want.

C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Splinter Cell\Save is what you want to save plus any Screenies you took and want to keep in the System folder too.

many games now allow you the option of keeping your saved games and settings when you uninstall it. i just wish more games would give you that option.
