Then at the end of the fence, you see a guy warming his hands by a fire. How do you get around the corner, I can't seem to get myself "unstuck" from the wall?

Press "Space", then it will do the "SWAT"-Turn. It shows that in the little hint-box.

A rebutal to my own previous statement: multiplayer fvcking rocks! I didn't like it at first b/c I had no idea what was going on and my partner was a total newb. Last night I played some 1v1 to fvck around and had an absolute blast. True, in a pure gunfight the mercs would destroy, but as dark as the levels are, the emphasis for the spies is on absolute stealth. Truely a bad ass game :)

Mercs always have their gun out whereas spies don't, and spies move slow as molasses with it out. It just seems like totally uneven gameplay, and having it 2v2 doesn't help. Single player I am definitely diggin though
I'm glad you replied a rubttle against this post, because you can't pay a couple of games and decide on how you like it. Upon my playing online the past week, I've learned that the skills vary tremendously so far, so some games will seem like the mercs have the tremendous advantage, and sometimes the spies. I also did this my first couple times playing, and realized that the multiplayer game is unbeliveably balanced, it's just the skills of the players playing right now. Give it a couple of months, and most everyone will learn how to play each respective side.

How do you play with headphones? Do you plug into the TV or is there an audio jack on the xbox?

It's linkable right?

Anyone trying to beat it without killing anyone? I tried with the first Splinter Cell, but I couldn't make it past the warehouse in mission 6 without being spotted. I think I made it through with killing only 4 people. Maybe I'll do better in Pandora Tomorrow :).

Seeing it just came out, I doubt that many people have even beat it yet... of course, there are college students here... ;)

Haven't tried that yet in SC2. I did it for SC1. The only levels IIRC that you couldn't do that on for SC1 was Chinese Embassy 2 and one particular part on Ambottier (the meat warehouse). In CE2, you have to climb across the ceiling on a pipe - I shot out pretty much every single light, and the guy at the turret gun always saw me no matter what my darkness meter was. I could take that guy out and go across without shooting lights just fine.

In the meat warehouse, there was one spot where I could not get past, although I didn't try very hard on that particular spot - I'm sure it can be done. Other than that I've done it plenty of times :)

I will be trying that for SC2 once I get the chance though

I think what he meant was not knocking out/killing guys you have to. (IE, guys you interrogate, guys you have to pickup a keycard from, etc)

While on that subject - is there anyway to save the guard that took that picture and is locked inside a storage room? I tried so many ways to "save" him but never could figure out a way to. I tried knocking him out with a smoke grenade, gas from a diversion camera and dragging his body to the corner but the explosion always seemed to kill him no matter what.

Ahh, I really wish my Xbox had an audio jack.

Also, I am not sure if this is the same thing in SC2 but in SC1 if you shot someone near the very top of their head with the sticky camera it would knock them out and you could retreive the camera. Great way not to kill someone and not waste any stuff on it.

You can also kill the mercenaries while they're discussing how to open the door, but there is no escape this way.

IMO, the game is a lot better than the first episode, the train level was really enjoyable, blowing wind, trains going by...
There are pamphlets advertising other Ubi Soft games, a magazine featuring Prince of Persia on the cover... The level design is a lot better, every level has some original ideas, creativeness is not unknown to the designers, it seems.

Yea I killed them beforehand and I ran around for 15 minutes before redoing it and realizing they place the barrels after you talk to them. The train level was definitely fun though.

Regarding comparing it to UT2K4 - what the hell are you smoking? Why don't you compare Starcraft to Tetris while you're at it? That's a good apples to watermelon comparison too.

Yeah, don't be seen. ;)

Just knock that guy out and drag him to a dark place.
