Splinter Cell: Double Agent

I wasn't that impressed with the demo (mainly its poor performance), but the SC games have been some of my favorites and that price is irresistible.

I was looking at the Ubisoft forums about this game... Tons of problems with it, and they made the game much more console friendly now. (As in dumb down the interface).
Looks like even at this price, it isn't that good of a deal. 🙁

I'm surprised about this. How could they "dumb" it down any further than the first, since it was developed for the original Xbox? Either way, I really liked the first two and this latest installment claims to have much more incentive for multiple replays so I'm excited to get my copy.

This (the picture) looks like the import version.
Has anybody contacted GoGamer to confirm (sometimes, the picture is not representative)?

It is the imported version. Whenever GoGamer puts a new release game on 48 Hour Madness it's usually an import, which is designated by the (I). But, I've bought 2 games from them that were imports and they work just fine. They play multiplayer just the same and they patch/update like the US versions.

By the way, they no longer use Starforce in this, right? That was the main issue I had with CT.

I'm pretty sure they got rid of it. That's the main reason I never played CT a second time through.

Yes, no starforce is used by Ubi anymore. At least they say that. So far it is true. 🙂

I forgot to mention, this game REQUIRES a 3.0 shader capable card. If you don't got that, then you can't play the game.
