Hey, you guys know if this PC version of this game supports any sort of online co-op?

My friend and I would be the only 2 people playing it, we don't see ourselves playins pvp online.

I never understood why the MP for Pandora Tomorrow never took off. It was a pretty cool idea, and if you had a good agent, lots of fun.

Well I'm considering getting two copies via ebay, if its got some sort of co-op mp that 2 people can play, where it'll be fun, I'll purchase it then. Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not it has this function and what exactly it is. We've been playing Chaos Theorys MP and love it.

No, this game has no co-op mode on the PC. It's way inferior to the previous SC games in general and actually can't even be completed without using various workarounds, due to the horrendous number of bugs. If you want to buy it, I would strongly recommend getting it on the consoles instead, especially the Xbox1/PS2 version. Unlike the 360/PC version, it was made by the same dev team as Chaos Theory and is apparently a completely different and much better game (and has a co-op mini-campaign like CT).

Does CT's co-op work for you? I've wanted to try that out for a long time, but I remember people back then saying that the co-op in the PC version was totally unplayable due to lag and low framerates. I don't know if one of the patches fixed those issues though.

Aye, it does have a sort of co-op multiplayer. There are mercenary bots that 2-3 people can play against as spys, if that's what you mean.

I think he meant something like CT's co-op, which had a separate set of missions with their own story and were specifically designed for co-op.

Well, if that is the case. Then yes, DA does have a multiplayer mode like CT does, albeit somewhat different. Now you can also do 3 vs 3 instead of just 2 v 2.

Yeah, I had major problems with the CT co-op as well, but one of the patches (forget which one) alleviated those problems for me.

Yea its just that we're on LAN so we don't have to worry about the whole lag issue. So I guess Chaos Theroy is the only game that has this function? Any news about this new Splinter Cell game in the works, any mention of a campaign type co-op?

Thanks!

i gave up on this game 3/4-way, because of the bugs that I encounter. the game would be unplayable after a while because being caught = death = game crash. a quick-load involved restarting the game.
