Splicing AT&T Digital Cable

Anyone know how to splice digital cable to get it to display different channels on 2 TVs? In the brochure it says it's an extra $5 a month for each TV, but this seems excessive to me. Anyway I can do it w/o involving the cable company? (ahem...legality is not an issue...)
