Finally picking up a tablet, Deciding between a Ipad2 or a transformer. Splashtop is very important in the decision. So I've decided that if it works better on one than the other than I would choose the better.

Has anyone used it on both tablets? I tried to find a comparison video on youtube but I was unable to find anything.

Appreciate any help.

UPDATE:

Got an Iconia today, have to say i'm astonished at how well Splashtop works. If you have a honeycomb tablet I highly recommend it.

I use splashtop to connect my Transformer to my Macbook Pro and it works great. I dont have an ipad so I have no idea how that works.

It works equally well on both. Transformer has an edge with default keyboard and touchpad support.

Of course both suck equally when the resolution of the host machine is higher.

And then there's the fact that you need to be on local network for it to work well. Otherwise, it's no different from any other VNC setup.

Sometimes there is just no point in using it since you can just reach the host machine and use it with minimal lag instead.

I think Splashtop Remote for Android has caught up in features now. I think the Android version didn't have multi-monitor support before. I'm not entirely sure as I use it on the iPad and iPhone.

I was having some issues with Splashtop before, but either an update or a restart must have fixed something, because it's even more responsive at native resolution (1920x1200) over 3G (1-3 bars).

Hmm Splashtop always seems to do the weirdest things to my desktop. I was on it earlier from the kitchen, and I came back upstairs to find my Windows 7 machine had the basic skin on. :\ Last time it refused to change the resolution back to normal.
