Spirit Airline deals

does anyone know how often these come along?

they're running a special from DTW to LAX for $99 each way, which is a great deal, but not the time i need. do the deals come often enough that i should wait for a deal? btw, i need a flight departing DTW around 3/21 to 3/24.

EDIT: Yes, that's 5 cents. Not a typo. And they run these types of sales pretty often. Unfortunately the awesome fares are always tuesday thru thursday, so I can't usually take advantage unless I'm already planning on taking off from work. 🙁

Yeah, just like Black88GTA said, I'm on their mailing list as well (mostly for their DTW->LGA fares), but they had tickets to LAX for a few days last week or the week before for ~$170 with taxes and fees.

Just wait...it'll come around. I went to New York last year for $56.80 with taxes and fees, round trip, for a day 😀
