Anybody ever flown with them before? I just got done reading hundreds of very negative reviews on them. But also just read they got fined $350,000 for their bad business practices(In September), so I am thinking they may be a little better now. I need to fly someone here from Panama(Dec 24th-Jan4th), and they wanted the cheapest flight, which Spirit Air def provides that. Most of what I read is that they charge you extra fees(food, baggage, seats) I feel if that is known before hand it should not be as bad.
 
You can't exchange Spirit tickets with any other airline. I was in Florida and the flight was canceled. I was stuck until Spirit sent another plane. (8 hours)
 
If you dont have a problem with possibly being late its really not that big of a gamble.. Plus you can definitely save money..
