I found one of these today. The motor noise is not bad at all. I would not have even noticed unless it was mentioned here.

Definately a cool little gizmo for $9.99. I think I'll take it to work and set an "Out To Lunch" message on it when it's time to go eat. 🙂
 
I picked up two from Woodbridge, NJ target. They had at least 15 more left yesterday night.

It's not very noisey IMHO, maybe some people got defective ones. And I T I S C O O O O L !

I also noticed they had some telescopes in the same section, but they were all gone in 10 monites after I went there. Did anyone pick up any ?
 
Man, these were only half off on New Years Eve! I knew they'd go cheap while I was out of town. Anyone in Cleveland find any left?
 
Where did u find them in Target? Were they among all the phones in Electronics or in a separate section/department?
 
At the local Target they were originally in the electronics section on an endcap before Christmas.
There was a bunch of other stuff with them too, like digital thermometers and CD players, all in similar Christmas packaging.
After Christmas at 50% off they were still there but everything else was gone.
At 75% off, they moved them with all the other Christmas stuff in the back corner of the store.
By the time I got mine, they were all gone except for ONE placed on a shelf near the price check scanner.
You might check the various price check scanners, people would scan things they thought about buying and then leave them there.

 
Just picked one up at Target in Mayfield Heights, OH. At first I couldn't find any in the Xmas clearance (which has been picked to hell since last week), but on my way out, I swung through electronics and there were at least 50 or 60 on an end cap.

It's even cooler looking than I thought when I saw it last week. And much bigger. But the noise is a tad annoying. Certainly couldn't have it in the living room while watching TV/movies or in the bedroom at night. I think I'll keep it and see if it grows on me, especially for ten bucks. Might make a cool office toy if I ever get an office again at work.

 
Picked up one today. Looks much cooler in person. They are bigger than I expected also. About 6".
 
The size is so cool, that I won't have to run to loacate and pick up my phone just to see that the call ios from a Telemarketer !

Got the last one today at Target near me for $3.99. 😀 Thanks for the post. If I hadn't seen this a few days ago, I would have probably not looked twice at this thing, but it is DEFINITELY cool (especially at $3.99).

Sounds like its time for some hardware hacking! I am going to swing by Target today to see if they have any left!
