Spike TV in HD?

woo-hooo! 24 minutes of high def commercials every 30 minutes. 🙂 No one else can cut 5 scenes from a James Bond movie and still have it last nearly 4 hours.

fuck comcast is showing spike in HD now too? make that another channel local comcast wont give us in HD when all other neighboring towns has twice as many HD channels as we do.

oh btw, most other neighboring towns has FIOS as well. we still dont

I left Charter because they offer no HD at all in my area, but offer it other places.

Im most definitely going to switch over to DirecTV once this deal Im getting from Comcast runs out

Did Comcast take over another company that used to operate in your area (such as Adelphia)? When I first moved here, Comcast had only recently taken over Adelphia, and Adelphia had really dropped the ball when it came to infrastructure investment. It took Comcast some time to bring the infrastructure up to the specs needed to deliver their full HD lineup.

Did Comcast take over another company that used to operate in your area (such as Adelphia)? yep. thats exactly what happened. used to be Patriot Media but got switched over to comcast before we moved in.
 
Dish added it a few weeks ago - I think DirecTV had it since last summer at least.

It's kinda like MTV-HD though; very little of their content seems to actually be in HD though I guess the library will improve over time.

not all cox does tho, in scottsdale they have 15 more HD channels than i do in mesa. pisses me off. id watch spike and sci fi in HD if i had them like scottsdale
