Thats what I thought about X-Men 3 when it was announced. Year ended up flying by and it was in theaters.

I have a feeling that Venom may not even truly be in this movie beyond the black Spiderman costume. Looks like they are somewhat following the Spiderman cartoon storyline for this one. With Brock becoming Venom after Spiderman gets rid of the black costumer...which leaves a cliffhanger for the next film...

sounds like a really good movie brewing up, possibly the best and closest to it's source (comics) yet. The X-Men movies were great, but it sounds as if Spiderman 3 will be following DAMN close. Which spiderman universe it follows (regular or Ultimate Spiderman universe) is yet to be seen as which characters take which villian roles does remain to be seen, not to mention how they act.
