there is a lot more movies coming out I am looking for this summer. I think Spidey 3 will be good... maybe better then the second... but not like the first and not what everyone is expecting it to be. A great many scene's I was looking forward to seeing (for instance... Eddy Brock picking up the alien as Spidey rips it off) were ruined by the previews.

They supposedly wrote 5, but there was talk that Toby was going to be out after the last one and I know Rami is already talking about going in other directions. As it seems more and more that Venom will be a bigger part of this movie then I had originally heard, I truly believe that this will be the last. Makes me sad. I had heard that Venom was going to be the focus of the fourth with Carnage as the bad guy. I would love that.

you truly believe this will be the last? i truly believe this will NOT be the last, even if tobey or most of the cast does not return. each one of these movies have raked in over 3/4s of a billion dollars world-wide. Sony will not stop producing these cash cow movies. (hopefully if they change the cast, they'll get a better looking MJ!)

No, you're in the majority. IMDB users have rated 2 better than 1 and even the critics follow the same pattern, so whether you find yourself more in line with the common or the critics, you probably like 2 and like it better than 1.

JMO. The movie had little/no plot but the action sequences are top notch. Unfortunately it seems as if the action was few and far between, with a brief fight at the beginning and the majority of the action in the big finale. Black costume looks cool, and they really should have just focused on a decent story involving the suit, etc. (trying not to post spoilers) rather than trying to cram as many minor villians into the plot.
