If you follow Spidey lore, you see Spiderman in the clip ripping the black suit off of him at the bell tower (the suit is affected by loud sounds and vibrations). The suit then becomes Venom...either he just forms in this movie, or he'll be included in a final fight.

Yeah, eddie brock is supposed to be at the tower too and he gets the suit and becomes venom. Hopefully, it's not a cliffhanger......

During the leaked trailer with Venom at the end, we see a couple of shots where Spider-man, wearing his normal suit, is next to a trailer that's suspended by all black webbing, so it looks like we're getting a Venom fight after all.
