Spider...

I just killed a spider that was next to my computer. It was a small black and yellow spider and when I went to kill it that damn thing jumped!! Does anyone know what kind it was.

BTW I HATE spiders!!!!!

There are no bad spiders, there is only aracnaphobia which week minded individuals refuse to try to overcome. It wqas probably a wolf spider. The chances of you killing a dangerous brown recluse are pretty scarce and the chances of being bitten by a black widow are pretty remote too. Try to live and let live. That way if the Alachoia break through galactic defenses and get to your miserable little world and find an arachnid tollerant one, they mayl pass by without stepping on it.

Yeah....I think so anyway. I looked them up and the pic kinda looked like the one I smashed.

we have jumping spiders everywhere here in south florida.. they're black and white though, and dont get too big.

really annoying though when you're trying to get rid of them..

The only "bad" spider that I can think of is the Hobo Spider. Those things will actually chase you in order to attack you. Not like it takes much to kill them, but they are mean muthafuckas.

They're all over in Utah as well. I saw one on my back porch yesterday that was a good inch across.

Brown recluses have a mean bite, but they aren't aggressive like Hobo's are. Actually, the Hobo is often confused with the brown recluse as they look very similar.
