Spider weaving a web at 20 degrees

Very weird... I let my dog out and noticed a spider hanging down from my eave. It's 20 degrees out! He was working away trying to make a web. Man, spiders in Alaska are tough.

Trust me... the little blob in the middle is a spider. The flash messed with the close up but the pics without the flash showed nothing so this is all I have.

LOL... Yeah, that's a white rabbit hanging in space. Like I said, the pictures were almost impossible to take. I'm not asking ATOT to identify a spider. I'm just showing (or attempting to show) a spider weaving a web at below freezing temps.

Trust me... the blob is a LIVE spider trying to weave a web. I don't hold much hope for his potential to catch a meal.
