Spider Wars. Black Widow vs. Brown Recluse--who wins?

Curious as to what spider would win the fight.

Brown Recluse, I've seen 1/2 dozen folks needing a skin graft or surgical intervention after one of their bites...

I say black widow, no doubt.

Brown recluses are clumsy as hell, whilst the black widows are quite lucid with their movements. The townhome I just left was INFESTED with brown recluse spiders, so I had the unfortunate chance of observing their behaviors when I happened upon one inches from my body when waking up in the middle of the night, etc.

Bulbous spiders (including the black widow) prey on recluses and hobos. They're their natural exterminators.

So what we have is One recluse to get whooped, One Camel spider to scare us, One DVD set to break the bank and One shoe sole to rule them all.

When I was a kid, my friend and I used to have "bug gladiator tournaments" in which we'd capture different bugs, throw them in a jar, shake them up, and see what happened. Spiders usually just sit there, but this one time, we put the 2 biggest spiders we could find (3/4" wide) into a jar, along with 10 black ants. One of the spiders killed one of the ants, and then the rest of the ants went insane. They ripped all of the legs off of both spiders. Pretty cool actually. Afterwards, we threw them all into a bucket full of household cleaning chemicals and watched them burn chemically.
