SPIDER! [w/PIC]

This dude (or dudette) decided to build a home on my deck this morning. It was not there when I went out about 10:00am, then I returned about noon-ish and This is what I found.
Just a Garden Spider, also known as a "writing spider". I'll just let it be and eventually he/she will move on...
Beautiful creature though....

Nah, these are good spiders.... they dont envade your house, and they eat the pest insects...

I love it when big-ass spiders take up residence outside the house. They look cool AND eat bugs. We get a lot of banana spiders down here.

They are particularly large spiders, this one is about 4 inches vertically.

I've got a pretty good pic of one of those I took a couple years ago. I'd never seen one, and was like WTF that's a huge spider! So I googled "black and yellow spider" to find out what it was 😛
We've got a spider that builds a fresh web every night under our outdoor motion-sensitive floodlights. He's been getting fat. I've got a couple good videos of him spinning the web, wrapping prey, and the like.
