I just went down to blockbuster and got the movie pass for 29.95 ... rented we were soldiers as my first week plus since I live in CA I don't have to go every week to rent a DVD. 🙂 I love CA consumer protection laws! its $5 more than Monster's inc. presale but 29.99 is still hot!

BTW, you know that the 10 week rental card is for 10 rentals total one per week, NO experation date in CA? In almost all other states, after 10 weeks the card expires 🙂 So 10 rentals PLUS the movie for only $30 at blockbuster is a pretty decent price if you ask me, ESPECIALLY in CA.

I'm not sure if I want to do the blockbuster deal, I mean I just used up the last SHREK rental from the shrek blockbuster card, and I've only used one rental from the monster's inc card. (yeah I know I'm slow at renting). What to do what to do 🙂

devistator is absolutely correct... The non sequential rental deal is only for CA Blockbusters.... The sales rep said that the card expires some time in the year 2004... I think he said June... I don't remember... looking at my card it doesn't say the exp., No worries though because i'll be done with card before this year gets out. 😉

if you go to blockbuster.com and look at the spiderman special it looks like the dvd does have 2 discs .... one with spiderman webslinging and one with the green goblin sky surfing... hot hot hot 🙂

The one that blockbuster gives you is the Fullscreen edition. If you like widescreen, I'd go for the DeepDiscountDVD, I've ordered from them many-a-time before, always came through.

Blockbuster gave me a choice of widescreen or fullscreen. I chose widescreen. Maybe it varies state to state

I'm pretty sure they normally give you that choice. After all I think they just tack on the orders of whoever orders the card, to the normal orders they get for renting.

My local Blockbuster (a FRANCHISE store) wants $34.99 for the Spiderman card. Definitely NOT a hot deal. Also, having a must-use 10 week card that will happen during the holidays isn't as hot as it is now with the Monsters, Inc. card.

No, but these DVDs do have "cut scenes" and stuff. It may include the WTC scenes.

well I bought that spider man blockbuster pass $29.99 last night. the homey at the counter said..."yea it'll work with membership, mon-wed, rent one get one free". So I go in this morning and he says the monsters card doesn't work that way. Hmmmm....supposedly the spiderman one does so I'll try next week. He gave it to me anyway but had to trick the system. Theoritically with one 10 pass card you should be able to rent 5 x 2(free favorites) = 10 rentals towards membership = 2 free new ones. (limit 2 per month). So in 2 months with the spiderman card you should be able to get 14 NEW DVDsand 10 FAVORITES in two months. Plus your two other favorite dvds free pass you get in the mail for membership.
