Thanks OP, IGN only gave it a 6 for PS3, they don't have a review for the PC version yet. For $10 it's probably fine, just a FYI on the PS3 review.

Edit: Here is a user submitted video of game play on PC, Link. Doesn't blow me away, but one should be able to get $10 worth of entertainment out of it.

Not bad for a new game. My friend has the XBox 360 and said it probably wasn't worth purchasing.

You actually swing from tangible objects now (not clouds like in the second one), and he said combat felt a bit quicker, but he didn't recommend me to buy it.

It's a steal though if you like the games. $10? :D

WTF? How can a new game cost so much on the PC? No wonder they don't want to publish PC games anymore.

Anyway, I would buy this game(if you really wanted to that is) at BestBuy ($22.99), and PM it to CC for 110% off. Then it will be under $10. :D

bought it online yesterday from circuit city for $19.99, can't cancel the order now to get it for $9.99. Gamefaq's message board regarding the PC version says the game runs like a pig on even the high end pc's (people with 8800gtx & Core 2 Duo's saying they can't run even at low res's with everything turned on). at least this time activision is giving us a version comparable to the console versions, not like spiderman 2 were the pc version was a kiddie game.

Man I was so mad when they showed the ad for SM3 game in the theatre BEFORE the film (we were seeing the movie).

I bought it at CC. Darn game won't even run (XP w/SP2, Athlon 64 3400+, Geforce 8800 GTS, 1.5 GB RAM). I should have thrown my 10 bucks out the Window.

said so earlier, so many people on the message boards on gamefaqs saying how badly it runs, i guess that's why CC had it so cheap.

currently showing as OOS for ordering online for delivery

I notice both of your posts mention 8800 series GPU's; anyone know if the performance issues are specific to the 8800 series or is it a problem regardless of GPU?

Save your money on the 360 version and just pick up Earth Defense Force, which is 10x more fun :).

Should note that it's the PC version in the title tho to let people know.

I just did a refomrat and isntalled the game (old windows was buggy) and it runs fine 1680x1050 everything maxed on my fx-55 x1900xtx system. I love it, its a great game with damn good graphics, definately worth the ten bucks.

Ultimate spiderman for PC is a great game IMO. I had a lot of fun playing it and swinging around the city and running races and doing the times events. I ended up skilled enough to do just about everything accept win the last race against Johnny Storm. Played it through pretty thoroughly twice.

Is spiderman 3 pc game anything like ultimate spiderman was?

My son is playing this on a 8600gt, 2gig and 830d. It is running fine @ 1280x1024 max, xp pro. The game is not bad at all!
