Nothing is created in a vacumm; yes, it sucks that forty years ago a black hero wouldn't have been popular, but that's no longer the case. (As has been mentioned - Blade is popular) So we need to move on and stop trying to "fix" history.

Yeah...WTF about Blade. They took a sh|tty comic book character and turned it into two badass movies. (Both flicks are good btw, if you haven't seen the second I recommend it. Snipes is a good action star.)

You already have all the martial arts heros, who to me are at least as cool as superheros. Lets face it, the white versions like Van Damm, Segal and even Norris pale in comparison. They just don't kick ass like little badass asian dudes like Jet Li or Bruce Lee...or even that comedy sensation Jackie Chan.

The Blade series was a huge hit... and the Spawn movie went over well, but it was kind of weird for the masses. What about Shaft? He is considered a super hero... I think.
